나는 '평창'이라고 불리는 작은 마을(도시)에 살아.
평창은 대한민국 강원도에 있는 곳이야.
그리 큰 도시는 아니야. 그렇지만 아주 아름다운 곳이지.
공기도 깨끗하고 물도 맑고, 산도 많아.
산이 많아서 가을에는 단풍을 구경하기 위해서 많은 사람이 몰리기도 해.
겨울에는 눈이 많이 와서 스키장이 많아.
이 곳은 'Happy 700'이라는 타이틀로 유명하기도 해.
Happy 700이란 강원도 평창의 동계올림픽 유치를 위한 a catch phrase다.
700은 인간이 살기에 가장 적합한 해발 고도라고 한다
해발 700m가 사람이 살기에 가장 좋은 높이라고 해. 또, 고랭지 채소로 유명하지.
I live in the small city called Pyeongchang.
Pyeongchang is located in the province of Gangwon in south korea.
Our city is not so big city, neverthless it's well blended with the splendid scenery.
There are a lot of mountains with fresh air and clear water.
(we boast of crystal clear water, fresh air and many mountains)
There are so many mountains that many people come in crowds to see the scarlet maple leaves in fall.
(So, many people come in crowds to enjoy the maple-viewing).
In addition there are so many skiing grounds in our city because we have much snow in winter.
This region is well-known for the title of "Happy 700", which is the catch phrase for the winter Olympic games of Pyeongchang in Gangwon province in 2010.
The number 700 means the suitable altitude above the sea for humman's living.
700 above the sea is the best altitude for man's keeping on living.
Pyeongchang is also famous for vegetables growing in high position.
