안녕하세요? 2015 수능문제 38번 문제가 이해가 안되서 여쭙 습니다.
Recently, however, one group of scientists working with the 17-year cicada in California have suggested that the nymphs use an external cue and that they can count. ( ① ) For their experiments they took 15-year-old nymphs and moved them to an experimental enclosure.
(working with the 17-year cicada in California)가 one group of scientists를 수식하는 형용사구라고 하셨고.....
의미를 “California에서 17년 매미를 연구하는 한 과학자 집단” 이라고 설명해주셨는데 = "Californa에서 17년생 매미를 연구하는 한과학자 집단"으로 이해를 해도 되는지요?
맞다면 "working with the 17-year cicada in california"가 올바로 표현된 문장이 맞는지?? (문장이 어색해서 질문을 드리는것입니다 - "working with the cicada in Californa which normally lives for 17-years" 라고 표현 하면 어떨지...)
아니면 17년간 매미를 연구한다는 의미로 이해 해야 하는지... 만약 후자라면 아래와 같이 써야 하는 것이 아닌가 의문이 들어서요...
