[미국방문]에 관한 영문편지 예문

앤, 널 깜짝 놀라게 해 줄 소식이 있어.
우리 가족이 이번 여름휴가에 미국으로 여행할 계획을 세웠거든.
(실은, 미국엔 삼촌네 댁이 있어.
정말 다행인 건 삼촌네 집이란 너희 집이란 가깝다는 거야.)
20여일 정도 머무르게 될 것 같애.
신나지 않니?
드디어 우리가 만날 수 있는 기회가 생긴 거라구!!!
그리구 니가 시간만 있다면, 나한테 미국 관광을 시켜줘도 좋을 텐데...
외국에 가 보는 건 이번이 처음이라 불안하기도 하고, 흥분되기도 해.
특히 너랑 만날 생각을 하니깐... (오늘부턴 영어공부를 열심히 해야겠다.
너랑 의사소통할 수 있도록...)
미국에 가면 가 보고 싶은 곳이 너무 많아.
헐리우드에서 영화배우도 보고 싶고, 뉴욕의 고층건물사이를 걸어 보고 싶기도 하고,
디즈니 랜드랑 그랜드 캐니언 에도 가 보고 싶어.
하지만 미국은 워낙 넓어서 다 다녀볼 순 없겠지.
아직 한달이나 남았다. 어떻게 기다리지?
내가 거기 갈 때까지 나한테 메일로 미국에 관한 정보 좀 알려줘.
계획 재밌게 세우는 건 니 몫인거 알지?

Dear Ann,
I have very shocking news that will surprise you.
My family is making plans to visit the U.S. for summer vacation.
My uncle lives in the U.S.
and the great thing is that my uncle's house is very close to your house.
I'll stay for about 20 days in the U.S. Isn't it exciting?
Finally we have a chance to meet!!!
And if you have enough time, you can show me some of your favorite spots.
It's my first time to go abroad, so I'm very nervous and excited.
Especially, about the thought of seeing you.
From now on, I'll study English very hard in order to talk freely with you.
There are many places where I want to go.
I want to see movie stars in Hollywood,
take a walk among the skyscrapers in New York City,
play all day at Disneyland, and tour the Grand canyon.
But, the U.S is so big that I can't do all of them.
There is still a month to go before we leave.
I can't wait. Until I get there, tell me more about the U.S.
and you know, any fun things that are happening in your life.
